Champions.

Everybody would love to be a winner.  Whether in school, in the office, in any area of life at all, no one would want to fail or loose. This character is inbuilt in a man by God, because a God himself is not a God who fails but bone who wins in any battle or contest.
We are entering a new year again, a year that none of us has ever seen before. I guess this call for some serious thinking, with a lot of actions to back it up. Few hours from now, you will hear folks saying, “my new year resolution is……” so many reach this resolution, while some just forget about it may be few weeks into the year. 2014 is a wonderful year, and holds a lot of great promise and blessing. Now you might be asking. Kingsley how did you know? Well! I live by what I believe and not by what is in my pocket, account or what I see. So I already believe that the New Year is a great one for us all and also for our country. But most importantly, its A YEAR FOR CHAMPIONS.
A champion is a winner, someone who comes out victorious from a challenge or a contest. So many say that champions are born, but in as much as that might be true, I also strongly believe that champions are made. What do you see for yourself in the next year? Well, I really can’t answer that for you, but I sure do have some tips. If you must be among those to record maximum success in 2014, then I would love you to digest this.
PURPOSE; every champion has a purpose. They see the end from the beginning. Champions have a vision to live for, they don’t just wake up each day, walk throughout the day and go back to sleep, living their life in a cycle. They are men and women with a picture of where they are headed to. If you don’t have something to live for in this coming year, I really don’t know how much you can get out of the year.
PASSION; if you must be among the champions recorded in this coming year, then you must have an unending passion for where you are headed to. Passion is a force that would make you do the impossible just to achieve your purpose. It will keep you standing even when situations around you are trying to make you give up on you purpose. It is like a light, the moment it goes off, the room (your life) goes dark.
PLAN; we have heard a lot of persons say if you fail to plan, then you are planning to fail. But I have really thought about these and I realized that the moment you fail to plan, then you have failed already. Many are the plans of the man, and it is the lord that orders them and determines how each should come to pass and also fall in place with the purpose of such a man. Plan your life 2014, and you will come out a winner.  This will help you watch you progress and order your goals properly.
PEOPLE; No single tree can make a forest. You alone cannot get there. Yes it is true that you are gifted, unique and made special by God in your own way, but you also need people around you to achieve purpose. You need people who believe in you, people who can talk you up when you are down, and people who can see the possibility seeming impossibility. You need people who are going you direction which is purpose. You don’t need everybody this coming year, because all the buses in the park aren’t headed to the same direction.  Purpose, passion, plan notwithstanding, with people, you get things done easily. Make new friends.
PRAYER; No champion succeeds by his own strength alone. You need divine assistance. The year might hold great promises for you, but you have to remember that you are a champion, and every champion is a fighter. Life would throw blows at you, trying to get you down on your way to purpose, but in the place of prayer, strength is renewed for the battle ahead, fresh ideas are given, rest and peace is guaranteed and above all, Divine assistance is obtained.  I would love to see you celebrate 2014 in grand style….  I really don’t know about you, but I am already there…. Waiting for you… SEE YOU THERE CHAMPION!

Hold On...

Our experiences in life changes just like the weather conditions. At different times we are faced with either pleasurable or harrowing conditions. Sometimes we experience heat-warming success, at other times we experience heart-rending  failures. Sometimes there is much joy and laughter, at other times there is much sorrow and sighing. Sometimes we bubble with life and health, other times we are over taken by sickness. Sometimes we enjoy prosperity with plenty, other times we endure lack and hunger. A lot of persons change with their changing circumstances. When the going gets good, they are elated and highly spirited, but when they get hit by an ugly circumstance, everything goes down completely. They lose the glee and gladness they once had when everything was favorable to them.  Most Christians do same. They love and obey God, go to church and do all manner of religious activities when things are all rosy, when there are no challenges, and turn against Him when thin...

LIVING A PRODUCTIVE LIFE 2

I believe that the last post on this subject was really a blessing to you. Well, I would like to complete what has already been started. It has always been said that good things in life does not happen by themselves, rather they are made to happen. People make them to happen. This means that whatever good you desire to see in your life, it is in your power to make it happen.  When I was studying about this subject of being productive in life, I came across an amazing scripture that opened up an entirely new portal of understanding to me. Deut 30:19  I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. After going through this scripture over and over again, it dawned on me that another important factor that would lead a man to living a productive life is DECISION-BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR WHATEVER HAPPENS IN HIS LIFE. Apart from having a vision...

SOMEONES VIP

Firstly I want to say a very big thank you to all my wonderful readers, those who sent me mails to encourage my works and all those who call. You all have been wonderful and I must say that you inspire me too.   I would love to share a story with us, it got me thinking and also changed something in my life so I know it’s worth sharing. “I had an experience recently that made me feel completely invisible. I flew to Nashville to surprise my son Josh at his college. When I arrived, I made my way with my printed reservation to the rental car clerk. I handed over the reservation, and the clerk said, “Oh, we are sorry, but we gave away your car”. What do you mean you gave away my car?” I replied, “I have a reservation!”  He informed me that it was CMA (Country Music Awards) week, and they were really busy with lots of important people coming through. They didn’t have any cars left, but I would get the next car that came in. he went on to say “you just picked a really wro...
