One Father.. One Fold

I strongly believe that the last post was a blessing to you. Well, I also partake from these blessings every day of my life. As you relax your mind, I would love to share this wonderful piece with you.. oh ! I just so love it. Every line echoes deep within our hearts, making us see clearer with the eyes of love. Just read this story.
Kola and Bayo were sons of a great man who had a lot of possession; he was a man of affluence.  Whenever they converged as a family, one can easily tell that love was evident in their family due to the way they shared their times and lives together. These brothers grew together in the house with nothing to lack, they grew to love each other and do things together. People around the neighborhood knew that making trouble with Bayo was the same as inviting the wrath of Kola. They were envied by all. This pleased the father because it’s the joy of every parent to see his children grow in love and peace.
One fateful morning, EL (the father of the two brothers) called together his children, and told them that he would be travelling, though the journey will not last long. He shared his cattle into two groups and asked each to take care of his own until his arrival. Several months later, Kola could no longer cross paths with his beloved brother because they were really fighting each other as to who will come out with the fattest of cattle. Both of them did unimaginable things to themselves which even led to the death of some cattle kept under their charge… I know you all would be wondering what is wrong with these two. Hmm..! Pause!
Christians, why do we fight one another? Have we forgotten that we have one father and we are of one fold? We castigate each other, reject each other, tell lies about each other even in the media just because we feel that denomination A does not dress, talk or preach like

denomination B.  what are we fighting for?

Are we quick to forget that we were baptized

into one baptism. We are joined with God

and as such we are one spirit. The father’s

precious investments are perishing yet we

are too blind to see.

God loves variety. If not, He would not have created several ethnic groups, tribes, denomination and races. I thought by now we Christians would have come to understand that no one single denomination can carry the full ministry of Christ. He knows the reason he gave us different gifts and measure of grace. The head cannot do without the eye. Today, you see a pastor go on paper publicly to lie and criticize his brothers ministry, claiming that God gave him a vision of a fellow pastor in hell. Wao! The most righteous, why not clap for yourself…. ARE WE STILL BRETHREN? We all cannot do the same thing, and we all cannot do everything complete as separate bodies, but we can turn the world around if we recognize each other’s calling and put our heads together. We can make a name for our God and cause dynamic change on earth if we embrace unity.

Am sure you are waiting to hear the conclusion of the story. Wondering what would become of Kola and Bayo when their father arrives? Well, while I write am also eagerly waiting to for the arrival of EL. I wonder what his judgment would be when he comes. Think on this while we wait…… EL IS GOD.

Stay blessed.

GO BACK AND GIVE HIM THE DANCE

And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. Luke 17:17-18 The principle of thanksgiving is the secret of multiplicity- Apostle Joshua Selman N. Ten healed, just one came back to give glory, what an attitude.  Christ urged them t go. Does it surprise you that He could still ask after the other nine? That’s because he expected them to come and say thank you.  Nine were healed but one was made whole; that’s the power of thanksgiving. There are lots of lessons to learn from this Bible story.  A friend once said; don’t expect your tank to be full when you are not thankful. Oh! How I wish you understand the power of thanksgiving. If only you understand the efficacy of appreciating God, you will never let an hour pass you by without taking a stop to say thank you Jesus.  Being so blinded by what we don’t have we actually forget to see that which we have ...

Hold On...

Our experiences in life changes just like the weather conditions. At different times we are faced with either pleasurable or harrowing conditions. Sometimes we experience heat-warming success, at other times we experience heart-rending  failures. Sometimes there is much joy and laughter, at other times there is much sorrow and sighing. Sometimes we bubble with life and health, other times we are over taken by sickness. Sometimes we enjoy prosperity with plenty, other times we endure lack and hunger. A lot of persons change with their changing circumstances. When the going gets good, they are elated and highly spirited, but when they get hit by an ugly circumstance, everything goes down completely. They lose the glee and gladness they once had when everything was favorable to them.  Most Christians do same. They love and obey God, go to church and do all manner of religious activities when things are all rosy, when there are no challenges, and turn against Him when thin...

FAITH OR FOOLISHNESS

I just concluded a little research I started about two months ago, and I am really shocked at the findings.  By the Grace of God, I have been opportune to travel to different parts of my country and this gave me the opportunity to learn little about different culture.  I have also been opportune to meet great minds who I have in one way or the other, shared from their experience and knowledge.  Meeting these persons, have also shaped my understanding about certain important issues of life. A lot of Christians act in a way that is questionable and if such behavior or action brings about a negative result, God takes the blame. Most times, when we hear of the death of someone, many are quick to asking God why. A lot of persons even go ahead to blame God, some blame the old people in their villages; some link it to some sort of witchcraft manipulation.  There are a lot of cases I been studying for a while now, but I would love to share very few with you my wond...
