SHOW ME YOUR FRIEND!

My dear readers, i believe you all have started the weekend in a grand style. Me too! It will interest you to know that among several other things, the people you associate with can greatly determine the extent to which you go in life. The persons you call friends can greatly determine your take in life. I know you must have heard “ show me your friends and I will tell you who you are”. This is past now, I would rather choose to say, “show me your friends and I will tell you where you are going to in life”. A minister of the gospel here in Nigeria once said, who you follow determines what follows you and the company you keep determines what accompanies you in life.
No man traveling to Lagos would board a bus with as friend going to Abuja, because both of them are headed to different directions. Friends! If you have greatness in view, then you must separate from any one who isn’t headed to the same direction with you.  Don’t wait until you drown before you know that Jonah does not have a place in your life. A single Jonah in your life can drown you on your journey to greatness.
A lot of couples have lost their marriage because of the kind of friends they keep. As a spinster, you don’t need those kinds of friends who will tell you to leave your partner because he doesn’t buy you the latest shoes and designer handbags. This kind of friend will make you begin to mount pressure on your man, thereby causing problems in your relationship. Any friend whose duty is always to make you feel outdated because of the kind of gadget you use or the job you do or the house you live in isn’t meant for you. As a young man, you don’t need friends who will take you to a place in other to be made rich within 24 hours after certain sacrifice. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE. If you have the right people in your life, the right things will come to your life too. Let me show you something wonderful;

“After Joseph was made the ruler over the house, the lord blessed the house and everything that Potiphar owned. The lord also blessed everything that grew in potiphar’s field. The lord did this because of Joseph.” Genesis 39; 5

The Bible declared that Potiphar’s house was blessed because of the presence of Joseph. Not because Potiphar fast and pray like a lot of us do today, but because of his association with a carrier of covenant. A friend in your life can determine how blessed you become. What you need in your life is your own Joseph.  Young people! You don’t need the “ THANK GOD IS FRIDAY” kind of friend. Shine your eyes else……………………..
While you journey to greatness, pray for your own Joseph and at the same time, be sensitive because he might just be that person you despise a lot in your heart…
